Having a slow start, "Sex and the City" the movie is coming to life. The project is being geared with reportedly, four original main cast already on board.

CityTV Guide's Michael Ausiello reported that Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis have all agreed to reprise their roles as the metropolitan chics. Shooting will begin this September with original writer Michael Patrick King penning the script and taking the role as director.

Sources confirmed that New Line Cinema is on the verge of closing deal with HBO that has been the home of the popular 1998-2004 TV series. King have also tied deal with Parker, John Melfi and Darren Star to produce the movie.

The TV series "Sex and the City", which is based on a novel by Candace Bushnell, was about to go wide-screen two years ago but was halted due to Cattrall's refusal. It was reported that Cattrall wanted equal salary to main character Parker and a control over the script. She has got them all plus a promise of future HBO series in this second deal and is reportedly happy with it.
